Mesh networks development using Amitelo's own technology
After months of research and development, Amitelo Wireless team got to develop the technology that will allow implementing mesh networks wherever the backbone reaches. Therefore, the network to be installed will be totally scalable, in other words, the same network architecture can work for a few customers network or for hundreds customers network. This technology have been tested in Germany, where all wireless network at Berlin is based on a mesh network. Amitelo Wireless wanted to develop its own technology based on that idea, and after a research and development period, it is now available for its use and market.

Success in integrating VoIP systems with Asterisk
Amitelo Wireless team got to integrate several VoIP systems in order to give telephony and Internet services through the same local area network (LAN). Following customer requirements, the network should use the old PSTN plug and the old analog terminals that the customer had at home. Furthermore, problems like power supply failure, a security alarm system (not from AW) using the same PSTN, and the large dimensions of the  house, made it even more difficult for AW workers. Using latest wireless technology (MIMO routers) and PLC (PowerLine Communications), the  implemented LAN allows Internet connection indoors and even outdoors. Regarding to telephony, customer can now take advantage of Asterisk's possibilities and latests Linksys ATAs (Analog Telephone Adapters), being able to place a call between terminals while an outbound call is up.
